Current USC Facility Configurations
Tail Rotor Drive Train
The TRDT test stand is fully modular and can be adapted for test parts on a wide
variety of helicopters, including the AH-64 (currently shown), the UH-60, and the
OH-58, to name a few. Capable of providing up to 150% of a typical aircraft’s power
at full speed (up to 800 HP), the stand is constructed to meet the most demanding testing requirements. |

Main Rotor Swashplate
The MRSP test stand, just like the TRDT test stand, is fully adaptable,
capable of testing the swashplate from a variety of military and civilian
rotorcraft. Powered by a 100 HP motor and with an available hydraulic apparatus, the MRSP is capable of
testing dynamic and cyclic loading at full rotor, yet remains safely enclosed within a
steel reinforced safety cage. |
FPG100 “No-load” Stand
This stand, similar to the TRDT stand, consists of the tail drive shafts, in its current
configuration, of an AH-64 Apache. The No-load stand has already proven itself a
useful tool in isolating the vibration signatures of several components. All test
stands are monitored by state of the art data acquisition systems that have been
specified out using HUMS system(s) as the lower bound in performance |
